What Is an Infrared Sauna
An infrared sauna is a type of sauna that uses infrared light to heat the body directly, rather than warming the air around you like traditional saunas. Infrared wavelengths penetrate the skin more deeply, allowing for a more gentle and tolerable experience at lower temperatures (typically between 45–60°C), while still producing a deep, therapeutic sweat.

Benefits of infrared sauna therapy may include:

-
Detoxification: Sweating helps the body eliminate toxins, heavy metals, and impurities through the skin.
-
Pain relief: The deep heat can help relax muscles, ease joint pain, and reduce inflammation, making it popular for those with arthritis or chronic pain.
-
Improved circulation: As the body heats up, blood flow increases, supporting cardiovascular health and faster muscle recovery.
-
Relaxation and stress relief: The soothing heat promotes relaxation, lowers cortisol levels, and may help reduce symptoms of anxiety.
-
Skin health: Increased circulation and sweating can support clearer skin by promoting collagen production and flushing out impurities.
-
Better sleep: Many users report improved sleep quality due to the calming effects on the nervous system.
Infrared saunas are often used as part of wellness routines to support overall vitality and well-being.

Preparation
For a safe and comfortable infrared sauna session, it’s recommended to bring a water bottle to stay hydrated before, during, and after your session. All towels and face towels will be provided on arrival. Light, breathable clothing or swimwear is appropriate, or you may choose to use the sauna in minimal clothing for maximum skin exposure to the infrared heat. Safety guidelines include limiting your session to 30–45 minutes, especially if you're new to infrared therapy, and listening to your body—exit immediately if you feel dizzy, lightheaded, or unwell. Avoid alcohol before your session, and consult with your healthcare provider if you have any underlying medical conditions, are pregnant, or are taking medications that affect blood pressure or circulation. Always allow time to cool down and rehydrate afterward to support your body’s natural detoxification and recovery processes.
